Meal Charge Policy and Fees

Udall USD 463 Meal Charge Policy

2025-2026 USD 463 Charge Meal Policy

Approved July 14, 2025

Our desire is that all students maintain a positive balance in their accounts at all times. Charging a meal should be the exception, not the rule. Students will be allowed to charge up to $30 for a reimbursable school meal. Students may not charge for extra items. Once a student has reached negative $30, the student(s) connected to that account will be offered an alternate meal. The charge for the alternate meal is $1.50 for elementary and $2.00 for MS/HS. This program is put into place so no child goes hungry.

Alternate Meals:

Elementary students receive 1 milk and 1 Smucker's Uncrustable.

MS/HS students receive 1 milk and 2 Smucker's Uncrustables.

Students must have money in their account to purchase extra items.

Extras will be offered to ALL students this year.
