The Winter Homecoming ceremony will be this Friday, February 2nd at 6:00. The queen candidates are Kendalyn King, Kayl Knapp, and Kaytlyn McDaniel. The king candidates are Kierran Hoffman, Isaac Johnson, and Cole Miller. This year's homecoming theme is Tangled. All high school students are invited to attend the Winter Homecoming dance in the auditorium commons on Saturday from 8:00 to 11:00.

The National Honor Society is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 10. While that may sound like a long time away, it will be here before you know it. Please use the following link and make your appointment today. Udall has had fewer donors so far this school year which hurts in two ways: one, it leaves a shortage in our country's blood supply that is so critical during the winter; and two, it decreases the scholarship funds that our Udall seniors receive at the end of the school year.

Congratulations to UHS freshman Lilly Hoffman who competed in the 1A state cross country meet in Wamego today. She ran the 5000 meter course with a time of 22:37. Several cross country team members made the trip to Wamego to cheer her on. Thank you to Coach Jarod Meier for an awesome cross country season. #EagleStrong!

Udall High School FCCLA attended District I Leadership Conference in Maize today. Members had a fun time learning in life skill areas and working on team-building activities. Rachel Jirak, sophomore and District I Vice-President of STAR events, helped lead the opening and closing ceremonies. #EagleStrong!
Having trouble with this year's FAFSA form...or need help filling it out for the first time? This year's form will not be available until sometime in December. They have not set a launch date yet. However, there are enough changes that even those of you who have completed one before might have some questions, especially since it's more student driven than in the past. **FAFSA NIGHT at UDALL** will be January 10th, at 5:30 pm., in the FACS room. Southwestern College Financial Aid reps will be in attendance to help. Everyone who will be contributing to the form, student and parent(s), will need to have their own studentaid.gov account and ID. Those can be done anytime before the form launches. It can take up to three days to process, so the sooner the better. Please contact Tina Almanza with any questions. tinaalmanza@usd463.org
