On Tuesday, 4th and 5th grades attended a Wichita Symphony concert for Young People in Wichita. Students heard music by Tchaikovsky entwined with a story of when Tchaikovsky came to America to conduct one of his pieces at the opening of Carnegie Hall in New York City. Favorite pieces included selections from the Nutcracker Ballet, and Piano Concert No. 1 in B-flat major. After the concert, students enjoyed time at a Derby park, followed by ice cream at Freddy's.

Let's give a big shout out to our high school scholars bowl members. Both varsity and junior varsity took 1st place at their meet in Argonia yesterday! Members earning top scores were Andi Byers with 160 points for JV and Mattie Preedin 80 points for varsity. Way to go Eagles!

American Education Week happens November 18th-22nd. "Thank" anyone that works at a school! This week is to honor the team of people who work in our nation’s public schools, everyone from the bus driver and classroom teacher to the cafeteria worker and administrative staff, plus countless others.

Udall FBLA officers spent today in leadership workshops and listening to various speakers at the Fall Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City. This year's conference was called "Learn to Lead". Speakers included Brian Ferrell, owner and CEO of Factor 110, Bailey Rae, country artist and former contestant on The Voice, and Diana Rogers Jaeger, author of Let Go of the Rope. They also participated in the Magnificent Team Challenge!











Udall FBLA officers spent the first evening of Fall Leadership Conference cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder!




FBLA officers had a busy first day at the Fall Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City. They toured Factor 110 and the Oklahoma Memorial Museum. Factor 110 is an event planning conglomerate owned by a former FBLA state officer from Kansas. There was also a few stops on the way, including Raising Cane's!











Tonight is the final show of "The Pony Expresso". Show time starts at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium. Come support our Eagles!
