Middle school and high school students had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Spirit Aerospace employees Jakobe Davidson, and Udall native Brooke Braddy, earlier today. Students learned about the variety of career paths at Spirit, their different locations around the world, training and educational opportunities within the company, as well as the possibility to shadow or tour their facilities anytime.
Attention parents! The after prom committee will have a parent meeting at 6pm in the HS commons on Tuesday, November 19th.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated on November 14th each year. It is the world's largest diabetes awareness campaign, reaching over 1 billion people in more than 160 countries. The day aims to raise awareness and improve the lives of people with diabetes.

High school students will travel to Burden, KS for the Scholars Bowl meet. Starts at 4:30pm.
What is the Scholars Bowl in high school?
Scholar Bowl is a team of high school students that competes with other teams to answer questions from all areas of knowledge such as history, literature, fine arts, science, math, current events, pop culture, and sports.

The 2024-25 Udall FBLA chapter is 33 members strong!
Pat Fink from MKEC Engineering spoke with several Udall High School students this morning about his career as a surveyor. Besides letting the students know this is an area in high demand, his presentation also included tools of the trade such as plot maps and pieces of equipment, along with advice on how to get started, and an invitation for students to shadow at MKEC.

Today our high school students will travel to Caldwell for their math relay competition. . Start time is 4:45.
A "math relay" is a game or competition where teams of students take turns solving math problems as quickly as possible, passing the problem or answer to the next teammate once they've completed their part, similar to a traditional relay race in sports, with the first team to finish all problems correctly winning.

USD 463 honored Veterans Day with our annual school-wide assembly sponsored by UHS STUCO. Thank you to American Legion Post 10 for the Presentation of Colors and to our guest speakers, Staff Sergeant Hunter Dierks and Tech Sergeant Buck Bonnell. The program included performances by both our 6th-7th grade and 8th-12th grade bands and ended with a video presentation honoring our local veterans.

National School Psychology Week will be celebrated from November 11–15. The theme for 2024 is "Spark Discovery" and recognizes the work of school psychologists in helping communities find new ideas, effect change, and expand horizons for children and youth.
